Skinner's Horse' c1905. This is the largest painting I have undertaken. The canvas is 6'x4' and was commissioned by a client in Hong Kong who's father (the officer in front) was a Colonel in the modern Skinner's regiment. The work took me approximately 4 months not counting the detailed research needed. I have learnt a great deal on a subject I found both extremely interesting and quite complex. I must thank the client for a challenging and exciting artistic experience!
